Over the last few weeks our line-up at High Definition has been growing exponentially, with expert selectors like Oneman, Maya Jane Coles and Hot Since 82, popping up alongside international superstars like Labrinth, Eats Everything and Ms Dynamite. So with our festival fast approaching, we're proud to unveil a new wave of exciting acts that'll be joining us on June 29th!
First up is pop sensation, Katy B, whose chart storming 'On a Mission' was one of the first LPs to bridge the gap between the smoky underground and the glistening pop stage. In fact it was an album that paved the way for a whole new generation of dance-floor friendly voices, with her collaborations alongside Magnetic Man and Ms Dynamite still standing strong on disparate dancefloors all over the world. They'll also be joined by two of the biggest names in UK Drum and Bass: Shy FX and Friction. Aside producing iconic cuts like ' Original Nuttah' and 'Shake Your Body', Shy FX is the man behind Digital Soundboy, an essential UK label that's now home to brilliantly boundless selectors like B.Traits and Dismantle. Whilst his counterpart, Friction, might be younger, he's by no means less important. In just five years the Brighton DJ's gained a regular Radio 1 slot, penned a plethora of floor-shaking hits and has tweaked his incredible Shogun Audio label to perfection.
